When making an appointment a patient is given a choice of seeing any doctor of his/her choice. If you ask to see a doctor of your choice (excluding times when a doctor is on holiday or at a training event) you will normally be seen within 48 hours. Routine appointments are 10 minutes in duration. They may be made well in advance (no time limit), which will enable us to offer you an appointment and a time more suitable to your request.

 Same Day Appointments

These appointments are offered on the same day, please telephone from 8.30 to book appointment. You will not have a choice of doctor but the GP doctor will deal with your immediate problem.

Telephone Advice

We would be grateful if patients would not telephone to enquire about advertised surgery times as this blocks the line for more urgent calls. Please keep telephone calls brief and avoid calling during the peak morning for non-urgent matters.

If you need to speak to a doctor personally, the best time is 11.30am to 12 noon. It would be appreciated if you would allow the receptionist to help you channel your appointment/query through to the right person.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
